Identity

Saint Isidore Farm is a small town homesteading business that sells mushrooms locally. I designed a logo and brand system, including assets like several logo variations, as well as typographic treatment and a unique color palette for consistent branding. I wanted to create branding that was unique and recognizable, yet not too complicated.

Ideation

Refinement Within One Stroke

After many initial sketches and concepts for logos, I refined my few favorites. I decided to create a set of logo alternatives that could be used for potential future products in substitute of the main one. I did many variations for each of the logos, trying to get the smoothest possible line and shape while keeping the flow natural as well.

Type and Color

After much consideration, I decided on a muted brown primary palette, and a colorful secondary palette, each color having an association with one of the alternative logos. For the type, I wanted it to feel a bit rustic but also modern, so Merriweather and Open Sans seemed perfect to me.

Mockups

Here are some quick mockups to show what the branding may look like on packaging and merchandise.

Final Brand Identity

Here is the final layout I made for future reference of the branding, which shoes the logo and alternatives, fonts and color palette, as well as photography style examples.
