I have many other creative hobbies that aren’t necessarily design related or project based, and I wanted to showcase those pieces in this part of my portfolio. I have sketches, digital art, photography, posters, and more in this section of my portfolio.
Sketches
In my schooling I’ve done many sketches that weren’t for specific projects, just to get the hang of sketching with correct perspective and proportions. Most of these are done with ballpoint pen or pencil, but some are digital as well.
3D Modeling and Rendering
These are some renders and models I’ve done for projects or for classes to practice and gain more experience with Fusion 360 and Keyshot.
Posters
Recently I’ve enjoyed making posters for my favorite movies, musicians, or quotes I like, theses are some of my favorites.
Valentines Day cards
This year I decided to make some movie inspired Valentines Day cards to practice my typography skills more as well as for fun.
Photography
Over the years, I’ve taken several classes on photography and composition, and I’ve also been taught more about photography through family and friends. I often enjoy taking a nice camera on my vacations, as I most enjoy taking photos of landscapes and nature.
Digital art
After almost 10 years of experience with digital art, its one of my favorite mediums. Although I’m experienced in drawing with photoshop, I prefer Procreate. Below are some of my favorite pieces I’ve done in recent years.
Wood working
I have done several wood based projects both in school and out of school. Some of them I put together myself, while some of them I just designed.
Fine Art
I’ve been doing all types of traditional art my whole life, from pencil and charcoal, to paints and pastels. I’ve taken many classes covering all these mediums, in and out of school to further refine my skills with these materials and experimenting with new ones, as well as different subject matters. The pieces below are some of my selected favorites that I made in recent years, some just for practice while some had certain themes.
