Traditional Art
I’ve been doing all types of traditional art my whole life, from pencil and charcoal, to paints and pastels. I’ve taken many classes covering all these mediums, in and out of school to further refine my skills with these materials and experimenting with new ones, as well as different subject matters. Below are some of my favorite pieces from freshman year, high school, as well one of my selected works from my AP portfolio.

Game Night
This was one of my main selected works for my AP portfolio. My main goal with this painting was to show my technical skills and abilities to accurately capture a detailed scene. I used acrylics and pencil for the initial sketch, and I even took the reference photo and edited it myself. This piece also made it into two art showings through art competitions, one at the McConnell arts center in Columbus for the Ohio Governor’s Art Show Regionals, and one at Otterbein University’s fifth annual juried art show.
